The idea behind the inclusion of retailers at Southern Hemisphere Open is so that gamers can find out about the different retail options available to them for this amazing hobby.
What we didn't want was for this to be a convention where you pay to come in and go shopping.
Instead we wanted this to be a fantastic 'hands on' gaming event where you can come in, try a range of different games, find out about where your game of choice is supported, find out more about the different options or products you may not have know existed and of course if you fall in love with a game we want you to be able to walk out with it so you can keep on playing.
We are really excited to have a number of retailers involved this year to showcase some local businesses and what they have to offer the community at large.
This is the third year that Games Worskhop/Warhammer has been involved in Southern Hemisphere Open. We are excited to have GW back this year not only running a number of painting workshops with us but also supporting the painting competition via judging, as well as intro to painting, and showcasing their range of games. Games Workshop will have a range of paints and painting accessories, and game products on sale at SHO.
This is the second year that OTP Terrain has been involved in Southern Hemisphere Open after launching their business last year at SHO.
OTP Terrain are licensed 3D printers of 6mm to 28mm wargaming / tabletop gaming terrain. They are licensed through many of the best designers & offer a wide range to pick from, that’s being added to all the time in our online shop.

This is the second year that Alpha Strike has been involved in Southern Hemisphere Open and the first as a retailer.
Alpha Strike is a Perth based online tabletop gaming and hobby retailer servicing the whole of Australia.

We are so excited that Southern Hemisphere Open will see the official launch of another WA based Hobby business.
This is the first time that Amazing Forge will attend SHO and we hope their launch is successful.
Amazing Forge is an affordable laser cutting and engraving service. They are an Australian company based in Perth Western Australia. All products are designed in house and made by a gamer for gamers!
As the official organisers and hosts for the event Objective Secured will again have a retail space at Southern Hemisphere Open. We will have our vinyl battlescapes on sale as well as a range of SHO swag. You can pick up your VIP SHOw bags, pre-purchased Name Plates and T-shirts from the ObSec booth or purchase a range of gaming related products.
Little Robot is attending SHO for the third year running, this time bringing the LRC with them.
The concept of Little Robot was not only to offer customers the biggest range of Gundam, Mecha, SciFi and Anime model kits in WA but more importantly to create a community whereby customers can catch up with fellow builders.
